Trade up Deal on New Frequency ranges for Wireless Microphones

The Australian government has announced that as of January 1st, 2015 it will be illegal to use wireless microphones and other wireless devices that fall within the frequency bandwidth of 694-820 MHz. This is due to the introduction of new 4G broadband services into the digital dividend.

What do you need to do?

Check the back of your wireless receivers to see what frequency range they are set to work in. Some will be fixed frequencies and some (the more expensive ones) will have a variable range. If they only work in the 694-820MHz range then they will no longer be useable.

If they fall within the new LEGAL range, 520-694MHz then they are fine to use in 2015.
