The Ibanez AR has been a classic model for many years and combines classy looks with modern playability and features. The AR420 is an amazing looking instrument adorned with a glorious flame maple top and abalone binding. The Okohume body offers similar tonal characteristics to Mahogany but at a much lesser weight, making it easy to play live for long periods of time. The Super 58 pickups are extremely versatile and offer plenty of bite for rock tones but excel at wound back blues and jazz passages, where clarity is a must. The Ibanez Tri-sound pickup system expands the versatility further with either series, parallel or coil split configurations, creating a huge range of tonal possibilities
